After a 16 day hiatus, the Lilywhites get back into Welsh Premier League action at home to Airbus UK on Monday evening.

Rhyl v Airbus UK Broughton: Corbett Sports Stadium; kick-off 8pm; Monday 17 February 2014

After making the Super Six in dramatic fashion Greg Strong's men have been hard at work on the training field, in preparation for the final 10 matches which will ultimately decide their season.

With a raft of new signings, including the impressive Carlos Roca, Strong is quietly hopeful the Lilywhites can advance up the table and secure a decent spot for the Europa League play-offs.

The Whites' form against the top sides in the first stage of the season was the worst of any of the Super Six. They won two, drew three and lost five of their tussles against Supr Six sides.

Yet this match against the Wingmakers is one of the closer Welsh Premier League encounters with both matches ending in 2-2 draws in the first half of the season.

With a bolstered squad and the confidence of having made the top six at the first attempt, this could be a chance for the Lilywhites to spring a surprise and dent the title hopes of Any Preece's high flyers.

New man Peter Dogan has served a two match suspension but Tom Rowlands is out for the season. Jimmy Gambino is still unavailable but otherwise Strong appears to have a full squad to pick from, including Shaun Dowling after his impressive performance against Port Talbot and Sergio Rodriguez, signed from FC United of Manchester.

Tom Donegan has been showing some promising form and livewire winger Carlos Roca may well be in for a starting berth after impressing in his cameo appearances so far.

For Airbus, Chris Budrys and Tom Field remain the danger men, with both managing a goal every three WPL matches on average. Budrys has seven, Field has five.

A large crowd is expected for what is an unusually timed 8pm kick-off and it should be a good indication of whether the Lilywhites have progressed from their early season endeavours.
