Quite a few eyebrows were raised when Lee Hunt left Bala Town and joined Prestatyn over the summer but Hunt has continued to find the net since returning to Bastion Gardens and at least two of his six Corbett Sports WPL goals have been crackers:
‘I made the decision to re-join Prestatyn due to family reasons but have fitted back in really well. It was great to win goal of the month for my effort against TNS but I personally feel that my goal at Newtown was better. Both of them have got to be up there with my favourite goals of my career – so I must be doing something right!”
The well-travelled striker also received the accolade of September’s Player of the Month in the WPL but feels that there is more to come from him and from the whole Prestatyn side are who currently in fifth position :
“It was always going to be difficult for us after our first games as a club in Europe. We are starting to click now and I think that we can only get better from now on “.
Prestatyn host Aberystwyth on Friday October 25th at 7.30 pm.

Ers symud yn ôl i Erddi Bastion am resymau teuluol dros yr haf, mae cyn brif sgoriwr Y Bala yn mwynhau ei bêl-droed. Mae Lee Hunt eisoes wedi sgorio dwy o goliau gorau ei yrfa (yn erbyn Y Seintiau Newydd a’r Drenewydd) y tymor yma ac ef ddewiswyd yn Chwaraewr y Mis ym Mis Medi.
Mae o wedi rhwydo chwe gôl Gynghrair y tymor hwn – ac mae’n credu bod gwell i ddod gan Brestatyn o hyn tan ddiwedd y tymor. Maent yn y pumed safle yn Uwch Gynghrair Cymru-Corbett Sports ac maent yn croesawu Aberystwyth yn eu gêm nesaf nos Wener.
