Goalkeeper Dave Roberts has signed up for a second spell with Prestatyn Town - a year after leaving Bastion Gardens and he will challenge Jon Hill-Dunt for the Town number one shirt next season.

A vastly experienced glovesman, Liverpool born Roberts began his career at Anfield where he gained two FA Youth Cup winners medals in 2006 and 2007.

He was released by Liverpool and drifted into the non-league game where he has worn the colours of Weymouth, Bangor City, Aberystwyth Town and Newtown.

Robbo first signed for Prestatyn in June 2011 and went on to make 25+2 starts in a Welsh Premier career total of 137+2 appearances.

Neil Gibson, Town's director of football, said: "I am delighted that Dave has agreed to sign up for us again. He is a proven quality keeper with vast experience and I am now in a position where, along with Jon Hill-Dunt, I have two superb keepers on my books which can only be a good thing."
