Preview of Tuesday's Matches...

Prestatyn Town v Bangor City

It's a Welsh Cup Final dress-rehearsal at Bastion Road this evening as both concentrate their efforts on the League once more. Town are likely to be without Dave Hayes and Mike Parker who were both injured on Saturday, so Chris Davies and Rhys Owen are on standby to start.

Bangor's Kris Thomasis available once again, having been cup-tied on the weekend.

Airbus UK Broughton v Carmarthen Town

Portuguese teenager Namir Queni is set for a debut in the Carmarthen goal with Steve Cann and Kerry Nicholas both unavailable. Paul Fowler, Neil Smothers and Corey Thomas (suspended) are also out for the Old Gold.

Aberystwyth Town v Gap Connahs Quay

The Nomads are aiming to end a run of four games without a win following a much improved team performance against Afan Lido.

Aberystwyth Town are a point above Nomads in the table and in the three previous meetings between the sides so far this season, Town won 2 and drew the other. Having only lost 1 game in their last 5 and won their last 2 home games, Aberystwyth start tonight’s game as favourites.

Against Lido on Saturday, the Nomads led 1-0 after a 35th minute Mike Hayes strike and despite skipper ‘Tigger’ Jones being sent off 5 minutes later, 10 man Nomads looked good for a win until two late strikes from Lido’s Chris Harland settled the result in the home sides favour. Nomad’s assistant manager Jay Catton said:

"The lads were superb and gave everything they could. It was very frustrating not to get what we deserved but it’s given us something to build on."

Craig Jones is suspended and Nomads in-form young midfielder Ryan Edwards is a doubtful starter, after coming off injured late in the game on Saturday.

Aberystwyth continue to be without Antonio Corbisiero as he continues his suspension, while Glynd?r Hughes hopes to make a return. Liam James and Rhydian Davies, rested after their rushed journey back from Dublin will keep the first eleven on their toes, alongside Declan Carroll and Christy Gale. Reports from Connahs Quay and Aberystwyth websites.
