It was honours even in the Championship Conference as Bangor's Chris Simm cancelled out Martin Rose's opener at Port Talbot's GenQuip Stadium.

The hosts took the lead after some excellent work from skipper David Brooks down the left and his pull back to James Bloom created the chance for the predatory striker Rose to tap in on the line with half an hour played.

But the visitors came back after the break and on 56 minutes, the League's top-scorer Simm struck his 19th of his maiden Welsh Premier campaign from inside the six-yard box. The Citizens might well have won it, but sub Gary O'Toole was denied when his header, which found the back of the net, was ruled out by assistant referee Mark Gardiner for offside.

Nev Powell's side have now not won in nine games, but his side remain in third an in the hunt for Europe.

Following the game, Port Talbot boss Scott Young said; "We've probably come away a little disappointed, which shows how far we've come. After the first half, I think we edged it and probably deserved the win.

"We then conceded a poor goal by our standards but credit to Bangor, they came back."

Llanelli's Craig Moses netted the winner against his former club as the Reds came from behind to beat Newtown at Latham Park on Saturday.

The Robins' took the lead in the 37th minute as top-scorer Luke Boundford netted, but the visitors restored parity on the stroke of half-time with Steffan Lloyd netting his first League goal.

Despite all the incomings and outgoings at Stebonheath in the January window, it was left to one of the longer-serving players to settle the match, as Moses, who joined the Reds from Newtown in May 2009, scored the winner.

The Reds move up to eighth with 30 points but Newtown remain in tenth with 26 points.
