Three weeks after trouncing Prestatyn 6-1 in their final Phase 1 fixture - Airbus made a triumphant return to Bastion Gardens in their first Phase 2 outing of the Corbett Sports WPL.

Jordan Johnson impressed in the first half and combined with Wayne Riley in the 37th minute to set up Chris Budrys' goal.

Phil Bolland scored for Airbus at Bastion Gardens three weeks ago and seven minutes after the break he popped up again to double his team's advantage.

Club Captain Ian Kearney netted the third score 5 minutes later and Ryan Wade put an end to Prestatyn's misery 3 minutes from time.

Airbus strengthen their grip on second position due to this comfortable victory and would have impressed TNS coaching duo Craig Harrison and Carl Darlington who witnessed the match from the stand.

Bala came from behind to secure a valuable victory at Park Avenue on Friday night.

Mark Jones created the chance for the first goal of game on 26 minutes after his powerful shot hit defender Tony Davies to beat Ashley Morris for an own-goal. Davies responded in the best possible way 12 minutes later though with a cracking over-head kick after a poor punch from Aber 'keeper Mie Lewis.

Lee Hunt put the visitors ahead just before the hour mark, lobbing over Lewis from just inside the box and substitute Stephen Brown secured the points for the Lakesiders with 18 minutes left of play as his shot crept under Lewis.

Aber's miserable night was compounded by the fact that Matty Collins was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone following an accidental second half challenge.
