Airbus UK Broughton have released Wales Semi Pro International Jack Lewis and the left-back has signed for Huws Gray Alliance runaway leaders Rhyl.

As the full-back didn't play for Airbus in their Welsh Cup Round 3 match against Port Talbot Town, he is expected to go straight into the Lilywhites squad for their Welsh Cup match against TNS at Park Hall on Saturday, which is live on S4/C.

Lewis had joined Airbus in the summer after Neath FC went into liquidation in June 2012. The left-back spent one season with the Eagles, playing 31 times in the League after moving south from Prestatyn Town.

Previously, he was a long-serving defender with the Seasiders, having made a total of 97 Welsh Prem appearances in a Town shirt.

He was capped by the Wales Semi-Professional side against Estonia in the International Challenge Trophy in October 2011 and also played against Norway and Turkey in the same competition.
