Bluebirds Chairman Praises Reds

Llanelli won 5-3 at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium

Following their 5-3 reverse at the hands of Llanelli AFC in the Word Cup, Haverfordwest County's Chairman, Rob Summons has complimented the Llanelli players' professionalism.

Summons told the Corbett Sports WPL website: "We heard before the game that the Llanelli players had received some of the money that was owed to them but that a cloud of uncertainty still hangs over the remaining payments. However the off the field problems were certainly brushed aside in the 90 minutes of the game.

Llanelli were professional and clinical and fully deserved their victory. The fact that five different players scored goals for them is testiment to their positive attitude during difficult times.

Their attitude is a credit to their profession and club and I wish them the best for the remainder of the Word Cup and really hope that their financial situation is resolved in the very near future".
