Henry Jones has scooped the October Player of the Month prize following an inspiring number of performances during October for Bangor City.
Midfielder Jones is a product of the Swansea City Academy graduating through the Under-18 and Under-21 ranks at the Liberty Stadium. Henry was scouted by the Swans aged eight and was rewarded with his first professional contract in 2011. Henry possesses a wide range of passing ability as well as being a danger from dead ball situations.
The young midfielder played in three of Bangor's four Dafabet WPL matches plus twice in the Nathaniel MG Cup and managed to get himself on the score-sheet twice times scoring the winning goal in Elgogico against Rhyl in the live Sgorio encounter.
The New Saints boss Craig Harrison has bagged a hat-trick of Dafabet WPL Manager of the Month awards claiming the October gong.
Harrison's men only conceded once (at Aber) winning all of their four October matches away to Aberystwyth Town, as well as home against Llandudno, Newtown and gap Connah's Quay.
TNS scored 14 goals during the month and have won all 13 of their opening WPL fixtures maintaining a 100% start to the campaign and have opened up an 15 point advantage at the top of the table.
Harrison will be looking to level Bangor City's 2010/11 record of 16 matches undefeated at the start of a season over the next coming weeks.
