Lakesiders make double signings

Colin Caton has continued his summer transfer activity, adding another two Lakesiders to his squad.

Alex Lynch is the first to sign on the dotted line. The 21 year old is a goalkeeper who hails from Holyhead and joins us from Wycombe Wanderers.

Starting out at Amlwch Town he was picked up by Peterborough United where he had a two year scholarship and one year professional contract. After spending loan spells at Histon, Stamford and Brackley Town, he signed for Wycombe in 2014.

Lynch who has represented Wales at Under 17 and 19 level, made 4 appearances for The Chairboys, playing in the League 2 Playoff Semi Final against Plymouth Argyle and against Aston Villa in the FA Cup 4th Round.

The highly rated shotstopper will provide competition to fellow goalkeeper Ashley Morris, wearing the number 23 shirt.

Joining too is Tom Quinn. Also 21, Tom is a defender and a product of the Crewe Alexandra youth academy. Released from Crewe earlier this summer, Tom has featured in all of Town’s preseason games and is a confident player who will be eager to impress this season.
