Three more join Bangor in shake-up

Bangor City FC is pleased to announce that the club has made three significant signings ahead of the new Dafabet WPL season.

Dan Nardiello brings a wealth of Football League experience with him to the Bangor University Stadium. The 33-year old forward began his youth career with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United before turning professional with United in October 1999.

Nardiello then went on to feature for Barnsley, Queen’s Park Rangers, Blackpool, Exeter City, Rotherham United and most recently Bury, amassing over 300 Football League appearances and over 100 goals.

The Coventry-born forward has also represented Wales as a full international in 2007, following in the footsteps of his father, Donato, who played for Wales in the early 1980’s.

Midfielder Henry Jones is a product of the Swansea City Academy graduating through the Under-18 and Under-21 ranks at the Liberty Stadium. Henry was scouted by the Swans aged eight and was rewarded with his first professional contract in 2011. Henry possesses a wide range of passing ability as well as being a danger from dead ball situations. Henry has also recently represented Wales at Under-21 level.

Laurence Wilson is the third player to join Andy Legg's revolution.

29-year old Wilson, who can operate in either midfield or left back positions, has made a total of 321 appearances (17 goals) in the Football League over the last ten years.

Liverpool-born Wilson began his career with the Everton Academy and signed his first professional contract in November 2014. Wilson made his Football League debut for Mansfield Town (on loan) in February 2006.

Wilson then signed for Chester City in May 2006 and would go on to make 115 appearances in three seasons at the Deva Stadium. Wilson then signed with League Two club Morecambe and made a further 111 appearances, scoring 11 goals) in 3 seasons for The Shrimpers.

Further moves to Rotherham United then Accrington Stanley followed before a return to the Globe Arena with Morecambe for the 2014/15 season.

Wilson has represented England at all Youth levels.
