The New Saints have today parted company with Matty Williams.

Williams has been an integral part of the football club since joining in 2010, helping TNS achieve five Welsh Premier League titles in the past five seasons as well as successive domestic trebles in his last two seasons with the club.

During his time at TNS, the former Notts County man scored 49 League goals for TNS during his 125 Welsh Premier League appearances.

The former TNS number 10 was also the scorer of the famous away goal that earned TNS an away victory in Hungary against Videoton in the UEFA Champions League.

Williams also scored both goals in the 2015 FAW Welsh Cup Final against Newtown as well goals against Faroese outfit B36 Torshavn in the UEFA Champions League and Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia in the 2010 UEFA Europa League.

TNS would like to wish Matty Williams all the best in the future.
