Toby Jones becomes Lilywhites new number 9

Rhyl FC have announced their latest signing as they rebuild the squad for the coming Dafabet Welsh Premier League season.

Toby Jones, 24, has joined Rhyl from Caernarfon Town where he played in the Huws Gray Alliance last season.

Toby earned a move to Welsh Premier League football after scoring 50 goals for Conwy Borough at the age of 18 moving full time with Neath. Toby then went onto Airbus before dropping back into the Huws Gray Alliance with Llandudno Town where he won the league, scoring 13 goals that season. He then moved to Caernarfon Town where he played last season and again won the Huws Gray Alliance. The 24 year old is now ready to make the move back into the Welsh Premier League and manager Niall McGuinness is delighted to be welcoming Toby to the Corbett Sports Stadium. McGuinness added “Toby is our missing piece and I believe we will get the best out of him this season, he is a proven Welsh Premier League footballer and I think we are yet to see the best of him. I'm looking forward working with him this season and delighted to have him as part of our squad moving into the 2016-2017 season.”

Toby will wear the No9 shirt for Rhyl FC this season.
