Play-Offs rest on Cup Final Winner

Six Dafabet WPL clubs await the outcome of the JD Welsh Cup Final to see if they'll either make Europe or gain a place in the Play-Offs with €200,000 at stake.

Two Dafabet Welsh Premier League teams have already booked themselves a place in both of UEFA's top European domestic competitions this summer.

UEFA Champions League

The New Saints

UEFA Europa League

Bala Town

If The New Saints win the JD Welsh Cup

MBi Llandudno who finished third in the Dafabet WPL will gain an automatic place in the UEFA Europa League Qualifying Rounds along with Bala Town. This is due to TNS already successfully achieving a UEFA Champions League Qualifying Round place.

With regards to the WPL Play-Offs for the opportunity for UEFA Europa League Qualifying Round, this would see four clubs compete with the potential fixtures:

Semi-Finals

Newtown AFC v Airbus UK Broughton | Saturday 7th May
gap Connah's Quay v Carmarthen Town | Saturday 7th May

The winners meeting in the Final on Saturday 14th May with home advantage going to the side that finished highest in the League.
