The draw for the UEFA Europa League Preliminary Round has been made this afternoon at UEFA's headquarters in Switzerland.
Barry Town United will face Cliftonville of Northern Ireland. The Reds were winners of the NIFL Europa League Playoffs after finishing fifth in the table, and have experienced playing Welsh opposition before, losing in UEL QR1 to The New Saints back in 2011/12.
Cardiff Met meanwhile will face Progrès Niederkorn of Luxembourg. Niederkorn reached QR3 in last season's competition, and are famous for having knocked Glasgow Rangers out of the UEL in QR1 back in 2017/18.
Barry will be at home for the first leg on Thursday 27 June, whilst Met will be at home for their second leg on Thursday 4 July. Both sides will be playing at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium in Leckwith.
