FAW Women's Cup Semi Finals Draw

Welsh International Gwennan Harries made the draw for the Women's Cup Semi Finals this afternoon in Cardiff

In the pot were three Welsh Premier Women's League Teams and South Wales Women's League Leaders Cyncoed Ladies.

Cyncoed made the long trip to Llandudno on Sunday where they beat Welsh Premier Women's League team Llandudno Ladies 3-1. Two goals from Gemma Harris and a third from Fern Burrage secured the win for the South Wales side.

Lisa Bird's hat trick and a brace from Hattie Powell secured the 5-0 victory for Cardiff City as they hosted North Wales side Denbigh Town.

Swansea City Ladies knocked holders Cardiff Met Ladies out of another Cup this season beating them 1-0 thanks to a goal from Katy Hosford.

Wrexham Ladies went 2-0 down to South Wales side Pontypridd Town Ladies but manage to get back to 2-2 in full time and came out 3-2 eventual winners in extra time thanks to goals from Bethan Davies, Lyndsey Rodger and Alex Waldron.

Wrexham meet Cardiff City in the Semi Finals and last years finalist Swansea City face Cyncoed Ladies, all games will be played at a neutral venues on 22nd March.
