Mark Powell: 2008/2009 Biography & Statistics

Left the club at the end of the 2008/09 season and joined League newcomers Bala Town.

Chester born Mark signed for the Druids in August 2007 after John Hulse told him that he wouldn't be a first choice in the 2007/08 season. Powell made his debut for the Druids in the 2007/08 Season's opener, when his new side beat one of his former clubs, TNS 1-0 at Plaskynaston.

The former England Schoolboy International made 151 full appearances in the League for the Lilywhites and played in all ten UEFA matches to date. His former clubs include Everton, Bolton Wanderers, Stalybridge Celtic, Winsford United, TNS and Mark had two spells at Rhyl after re-joining in June 2002. He is a reliable and consistent performer and will be a first team regular at the back for Druids. He is very well respected in the League and will be an asset at Plaskynaston.

Powell was a key member of the 2003/04 Treble winning side for Rhyl.
