McGregor leads by example in Nomads Win

Carmarthen's recent poor run of form in the league continued at Richmond Park with Gap securing a deserved three points.

Mark McGregor led by example as the player / manager opened the scoring after 34 minutes.

Liam Thomas scored his third goal in five days following his brace against Bryntirion in the Word Cup midweek 2 minutes after the break and Jonathan Hood gave the Old Gold the lead 6 minutes later.

However Ryan Healey - the young man with a bright future ahead of him - gave the visitors parity immediately before veteran Ricky Evans and Jamie Petrie secured the victory for Gap.

To rub salt into Carmarthen wounds - Liam McCreesh was given his marching orders in the closing minutes.
