Follows stars for Reds in Carmarthenshire Derby

Llanelli ended a period of over a month without a League match with an away win in the Carmarthenshire derby, which took the Reds back into the top six. The hosts took the lead at Richmond Park as Corey Thomas outjumped Jordan Davies at the far post to head home a deep Darren Griffiths cross.

The Reds thought that they had levelled when Jason Bowen found the back of the net, but Jordan Follows touched the ball on the way to the goal in an offside position, so it was ruled out. They did level, just moments later though, when Follows outmuscled Dale Griffiths before finishing well with two touches.

Two goals in three second half minutes gave The Reds a victory that is likely to boost confidence for a busy month ahead as they try to play catch up after having had so many of their games postponed. It was Man of the Match Follows who got the second after 71 minutes following a mistake from ex-Reds skipper Lee Phillips, with Craig Moses making the result safe on seventy three.
