Crisis...What Crisis? Asks Saints Boss Cale

Is the bubble bursting for four-times champions The New Saints, who are now two points adrift of second-placed Llanelli and five behind Rhyl?

The evidence - just two wins from their last six matches - seems clear but manager Andy Cale remains defiant in the face of increasing pressure.

"Crisis, what crisis?" he said.

"That's just five points dropped at home this season so there's no panic, although we didn't do enough to win today.

"Newtown defended magnificently and we failed to use the vast amount of possession we had. I'm disappointed, but we'll keep working."

Newtown boss Darren Ryan was beaming saying; "It's a fantastic result for us. All 14 players involved were magnificent."

The Robins were bobbing in the fifth minute when Shane Sutton put them ahead with an unopposed header but Matthew Berkeley (20) drew Saints level.
