Late show delight for Carmathen boss Deryn Brace

CARMARTHEN TOWN player-manager Deryn Brace acknowledged his team were due for a slice of luck as they edged the points at Plaskynaston.

"We dont feel we have been enjoying the rub of the green lately so to score the winner with the last kick was a lovely feeling for a change," Brace said. "We gave a solid performance, but Druids will probably feel they deserved a point in a good, open contest.

"Other results went our way which makes the result even more satisfying and I hope we can take this in our stride and go on a nice run."

Neil Thomas kept the visitors in the game with several crucial early saves, but Jamal Easter (31) edged them ahead. Mark Powells magnificent late volley drew Druids level, but Nicky Palmer grabbed the winner with seconds left.
