Aber back to winning ways against lowly Robins

<1>Bryan Coyne will be delighted that his side have finally won a game since he was awarded the Manager of the Month award in November. The Seasiders registered a 4-2 win over their Mid Wales rivals at Park Avenue, in a match when former Wales International Christian Edwards made his home debut.

The home side took the lead after just two minutes through Craig Jones before defender Aneurin Thomas doubled the advantage after just twelve minutes. The Robins were back in it just two minutes later when Matthew Lewis scored his second in as many matches but Aber extended their lead again though on the stroke of half time when Staurt Roberts netted.

Newtown's never say die attitude ensured that defender Rob Williams pulled another back for the visitors but Aber had the last laugh when Luke Sherbon scored from the penalty spot., shortly after former Newtown favourite and captain Danny Barton came on for Aber with just over ten minutes to go.

The defeat keeps Newtown in a relegation battle and Darren Ryan still has a lot of work to do at Latham Park.
