Nomads earn excellent win at Richmond Park

<1>Carmarthen Town have a great record at Richmond Park under the guidance of Mark Jones, but they slipped to a second consecutive home League defeat, as Connah's Quay Nomads emulated Welshpool in taking maximum points in Carmarthenshire on Saturday afternoon. The visitors attacked from the first whistle and they dominated the opening ten minutes, which resulted in them taking the lead when Adam Dickinson lashed home a fierce 25 yard shot past Neil Thomas.

After that opening storm, Town settled back and took their chances on the break. Although skipper Nathan Cotterrall (left) equalised with a fine individual goal, ex Tranmere man, Dickinson restored the lead with another long-range effort, which passed under Thomas' body.

In the second half, Nomads' 'keeper Paul Smith kept them in front with a terrific save from Old Gold striker, Kaid Mohamed, before Tommy Mutton, who reached 100 Welsh Premier goals last wee, clinched the win with an 82nd minute strike.
